Welcome To Zombie Guru's Twisted Lair!

November 8, 2014

For those of you who do not know me, I am Skot Pierson, AKA the 'Zombie Guru'. I am a writer, amateur zombie fx makeup artist and one of the co-hosts and panelists for Zombiepalooza Radio for 5 hours every Friday Night on Livestream starting at 8:pm Eastern time (5:PM Pacific).

For the past several years I have written zombie genre review blogs for various web pages and also for facebook pages and groups like my own Zombie Guru group as well as for the largest TWD group on facebook, The Walking Dead Fan Base, and for pages like Zombiepalooza: Dead Again (the official page of Zombiepalooza Radio) and My Zombie Survival Guide. Websites that I have reviewed on include TWD DEAD TALK and My Zombie Apocalpse Chosen Few.

The reason that I have created this page is so that I can have one centralized location for my writings and blogs, no matter WHAT show or movie I am reviewing at any given point. I have found that most pages are show-specific, and while I love that aspect of them, I can't abide having to keep track of where I have posted what reviews. The pointy-toothed guys that live between my ears have a great time giving me creative ideas, but none of them has the inclination to be a librarian and keep a file of where I put what, so here we are! This is where you will find my newest reviews for The Walking Dead, Z-Nation and new movies and novels as they come out. There will also be reviews of the classics, casting a fond glance back at movies that you all know and love, like George Romero's Night Of The Living Dead, which started the whole genre back in October of 1968... George standing at the top of a steep snow-covered hill with a wicked grin and a little tiny snowball which he playfully rolled down the hill, changing the face of horror cinema forever. There will also be assorted twisted musings in the form of parody storys, poetry and lyrics dictated to me by my PTGs (that's the Pointy-Toothed Guys that live between my ears) as I learn of them from the mutterings.

This is my first foray into the independant "blogiverse" as it were, and I won't lie... It's a bit intimidating! However I'm reasonably sure that I will get the hang of it soon enough and if you love the zombie genre as much as I do, I'm sure you will have a crunchy-chewy good time learning about movies you might not know even existed, new authors who's books wil be right up your food chain and the best of the new television zompoc shows as they come out!
